Ashlie Hughes is a freelance writer and photographer who covers the things she loves to do most – eat, drink and travel. 

Her writing has been published in AFAR, Fodor's, The Kitchn, USA Today's Eat Sip Trip, and Edible Santa Fe, among others. Ashlie earned a digital photography certificate from the University of New Mexico in 2016. Her photography has been featured in New Mexico Magazine and Edible Santa Fe.  

Ashlie formerly worked in television production and received a B.S. in Psychology from James Madison University.

She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she has a view of two beautiful mountain ranges and enjoys eating copious amounts of the local specialty, green chile.
